...But what exactly is a healthy diet?    Let's look at what the doctors say.

It's been almost 8 years since Kaiser's Permanente Journal released their nutritional update for physicians.  Some highlights from the update include:

"Healthy eating may be best achieved with a plant-based diet, which we define as a regimen that encourages whole, plant-based foods and discourages meats, dairy products, and eggs as well as all refined and processed foods"

As well as:  "Research shows that plant-based diets are cost-effective, low-risk interventions that may lower body mass index, blood pressure, HbA1C, and cholesterol levels. They may also reduce the number of medications needed to treat chronic diseases and lower ischemic heart disease mortality rates."

And finally: "Physicians should consider recommending a plant-based diet to all their patients, especially those with high blood pressure, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, or obesity."

The great news:  All your meals at the Fasting Escape will be taken care of by an expert chef who knows how to make healthy food taste good.  Your taste buds will feel quite exciting to taste the different meals after a fast.

Fresh fruits, gourmet breakfast dishes, salads, beautifully prepared entrees, and even an occasional dessert are all on the menu.     Not only that, there will be cooking classes and educational talks so that you can bring this home.  Click below to keep going and learn about the wonderful speakers and classes.
